Liz Gallen

Liz Gallen started riding as a child in the show ring before discovering eventing in her teens. As a working student for Marilyn Payne for several years, Liz broke and trained young horses while competing with her own horse in a number of three day events.
She worked for Karen O'Conner in England in 1994. Upon returning to the United States, she began teaching her own students and retraining off-the-track thoroughbreds. Several of her horses have become successful eventers through the Preliminary level. She started Blue Heron Farm in 1999.
